Toby Buckland’s Garden Festival at Powderham

Toby Buckland’s Garden Festival at Powderham Castle, near Exeter in Devon, returns for a fourth year on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th April 2017. Known for its friendly atmosphere, great horticultural shopping and beautiful setting, Toby’s GardenFest is the place to be to celebrate the first Bank Holiday of spring. With more than 100 nurseries and gardening stalls, the Garden Festival is proud to play host to the best of the region’s horticultural heritage, along with delicious food, arts and craft stalls.

The Festival opens at 10am on Friday 28th April with Pippa Greenwood, pest guru and Radio 4 Gardeners’ Question Time regular cutting the ribbon, ably assisted by the Earl and Countess of Devon. Pippa will be sharing advice in the Speakers’ Tent and joining Toby for the Gardeners’ Q and A later in the day.

On Saturday 28th, we are joined by garden designer and TV presenter Adam Frost of BBC Gardeners’ World fame who will be sharing his knowledge about design and his time as an award-winning Chelsea Flower shower designer.

New highlights include our Garden Pest Clinic where we be showcasing the latest eco-friendly techniques for dealing with pesky bugs, the Chill & Grill Yurt celebrating a summer of outdoor cooking and The Curious Corner, a place for gardeners young and old to explore the fascinating world of wildlife, Nature and the great outdoors.
