Welcome to the Future Skills Centre. A fully refurbished venue operated by Exeter College in partnership with Devon County Council, the Future Skills Centre is Exeter’s newest conference, events and learning hub. 

 

Set just on the outskirts of Exeter in the stunning East Devon countryside adjacent to Exeter airport and with excellent transport links, we are proud to host immaculately presented Conference Suites, an Executive Boardroom, 26 meeting and training spaces, an on-site cafe and free parking for 200 cars. 

 

Utilising latest technology, we have vast experience hosting hybridised events combining face to face engagement with the delivery of virtual content to your remote audience.

 

Fantastic relationships with our neighbouring Hampton by Hilton hotel give us access to preferential rates on 160 bedrooms, making this the ideal venue for residential conferences as well as day events and training.

 

The Rooms

Our stylish and spacious Conference Suite fitted with 4k projectors can accommodate up to 160 delegates. Our hybrid event set-up also enables guests to join virtually with sound and visuals accommodated through a fixed camera and ambient PA system.  Bi-fold doors give this space the option of being divided into two for break out rooms or smaller group collaboration, without compromising on style or comfort.   

 

Our Executive Boardroom combines tradition with contemporary, enabling 20 people to sit comfortably around one table in exec-level chairs, whilst simultaneously allowing remote delegates to join virtually via our Meeting Owl.  Fitted with an in-built camera providing high-def 360 views of the entire room and combined mic and speaker system, the Meeting Owl will independently turn toward whomever is speaking, creating the experience of in-person participation for hybrid teams.  

 

In addition, we are pleased to offer 26 meeting & training rooms and multiple IT Suites, all fitted with interactive Smartboards.
