Welcome to Al-Farid - Moroccan, Lebanese Mezze Bar & Restaurant
Al Farid is an award-winning restaurant specialising in Moroccan & Lebanese cuisine.
Our name, 'Al Farid', is inspired by the name of a mystic Arabic poet, Umar ibn ‘Al-Farid’, who's poetry is related to entirely Sufic content.
We offer exclusive Arabian fine dining experience along with our traditional Hookah/Sisha Bar.
Reza Habibi well known restaurateur and celebrity chef is about to launch his second restaurant in St Albans following the phenomenal success of Al Farid restaurant in Exeter. Reza’s passion for creating delicious recipes and producing dishes that take you to a journey behind borders of North Africa and Middle East has no limit.
Reza has successfully produced some of the most stunning Middle Eastern dishes in his petit restaurant in the heart of Exeter for the last 20 years and now he is on a mission to bring the same heavenly pleasures to St Albans where he will be indulging in some amazing cooking and wonderful Middle Eastern hospitality.
