Fursdon House, Gardens and Tea Room are in a picturesque location high above the Exe Valley not far from Exeter. The Tea room is open at the same time as the attractive gardens, from 2-5pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Bank Holiday Mondays from Easter to the end of September. There are also some special Open Sundays throughout the summer celebrating the local environment.
Guided tours of the house are available in June, July and August and on Special Open days. See the website for more information.
All the food is baked on the premises and as many local ingredients as possible are used. Cream teas and other goodies are a speciality. We welcome tour groups by arrangement and morning coffee, afternoon tea or lunches can be served. The Coach Hall is part of the historic estate of Fursdon, home of the Fursdon family since 1259 and is made cosy on cold days with a roaring fire and there are tables outside on warm days.
