We've been really busy planning ahead here for when we are out of lockdown and we wanted to introduce you to something new and different at Kenton Park Estate...

The quintessential safari drink...

Gin and tonic is the quintessential safari drink. It has become an integral part of safari culture. We’ve added our very own special touch of magic to our GIN in the WILD experience so that our guests can enjoy our collection of signature gins from across the globe, in a stunning outdoor environment.

The gin tasting includes our very own "Cheeky Ginny" gin and one of our personal favourites, "Elephant Gin" with it's unique safari theme, along with several other gins.

There's something magical ...

Sip one of the most popular drinks in the world and enjoy it in the environment it was made for. Take in the serenity of your surroundings and the tranquility of the trees and the vines swaying in the gentle breeze.

It has become a well known fact that the drink of choice when on safari is a gin and tonic. There is something magical about sipping on an icy, limey gin and tonic while watching the sun slip behind the horizon. It seems to have become a tradition at evening drinks stop, mid safari, for guests to order these well known mixtures.

Stay the night with us...

So why not book to stay the night... so that you can really enjoy a distinctively different gin tasting experience outdoors in the vineyard, with romantic dining area beside the camp fire.

Our new safari tent has arrived and now sits pride of place at the top of the vineyard with spectacular view across the vines to the forest ridge above the estate and beyond. Imagine sipping a deliciously iced gin as the sun goes down and star gazing from our luxury safari tent whilst dining alfresco style around the camp fire.

The camp is for your exclusive use for the night. You can enjoy the delights of a hamper basket filled with several different gins and various mixers and freshly picked bunches of herbs to enhance the overall flavour. Dig a little deeper and you’ll find some extra treats, olives, crisps, nuts and freshly baked bread with a selection of hams and delicious cheese with biscuits and fruit and chocolate to finish.

Enjoy relaxing in the sumptuous interior of the safari tent for the night complete with a super comfortable mattress, over-sized duvets, log burner and cosy soft blankets to wrap you up warm outside so you can gaze upwards at the nights sky - make sure you keep a look out for shooting stars! Wake the following morning feeling wonderfully refreshed and wander down to the outdoor pool for a morning swim. Afterwards pop over for breakfast in the winery building where you will most likely meet other members of the Vineyard Cru.

If you would like to extend your stay here at Kenton Park Wine Estate, you can also book into our luxury wine lodge and enjoy one of our WINE in the WILD adventures such as paddle boarding along the Exe Estuary, one of our FIZZ on FOOT walking tours or cycling along the Exe Estuary Cycle Trail (with its stunning views and incredible bird life!) Or if you wanted something more extreme, you can bike up to the top of Mamhead Forest ridge where you can explore so many different bike trails for miles in many different directions.
