The latest good news is that you can now meet up to 6 people outside from another household at a 2 metre distance. This means that if you have members of the family who don’t live with you and your Dad, you can still enjoy a day out together this Father’s Day!
Is your Dad the adventurous type? How about hiring a canoe, kayak or paddleboard from Saddles & Paddles and enjoy a peaceful cruise along the Exeter Canal… see who falls in the water first!
Not to mention you’re also able to rent a bike from Saddles & Paddles, so hop on a bicycle and travel along Exeter Quay and the Exe Estuary Trail. Which destination will you choose - Topsham, Exmouth, Dawlish or Dawlish Warren? If you decide to cycle the Topsham/Exmouth route make sure to stop off at The Shack at Darts Farm for a refreshment stop!

Take in a breath of fresh air during a stroll at Exmouth or Dawlish Warren beach, enjoy the sights at Exeter Quay or embark on a journey underneath the trees at Haldon Forest! Alternatively, choose from over 60 routes on the South West Coastal Path.
During your wander around Exeter, stop off for a takeaway from one of the many eateries that are beginning to re-open to feed the hungry public. Order a scrumptious pizza from On the Waterfront or The Flat and indulge along the river, enjoy a juicy burger from Hubbox Exeter on Cathedral Green or support a local fish & chip shop and have a picnic wherever you’d like!
