Branscombe Beach

About

Branscombe beach is a long shingle beach, an ideal place to relax and enjoy the stunning coastal scenery. The beach is set below the beautiful village of Branscombe, and continues east about a mile to Beer Head.

Branscombe village is part of the Jurassic Coastline, and is part of the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Branscombe is a great family beach, with rockpools for exploring and stones to skim!

Part of the South West Coast Path, there’s a good cliff top walk to the picturesque village of Beer. The area has walks that cater to all abilities and the coast path can be enjoyed all year round - with views across the Jurassic Coastline.

Make sure you stop to explore the village of Branscombe itself - its chocolate box thatched cottages wander down the stunning cliff valley all the way to the sea. Its location makes Branscombe one of the most beautiful and scenic locations on the South coast - and its claimed to the the country's longest village.

Beach facilities include toilets and refreshments.

There is a dog exercise area at this beach.
