If you are arriving by train or coach, the option to use one of the Co-Cars vehicles will transform your opportunities to explore Devon’s countryside and coast, accessing areas with little or no public transport.

Co-cars offers its cars for hire to members, by the hour, with pick-up and return to the specially-reserved parking bays outside Exeter St. David’s and Exeter Central railway stations. There is also a range of cars conveniently located across the city and surrounding areas.  

Opening Times and Prices

Members can book 24/7 online or via a smartphone and use a smartcard and PIN to open the car. It is very affordable too, each hire costs from just £3.75 per hour, plus 15p per mile and from £25 per day. Fuel, insurance, tax, maintenance and emergency cover are all included so there are no hidden costs.

Cars are located at Exeter Central and Exeter St. David’s Railway Stations enabling you to drive the last few miles with your luggage to your destination. There are Co-Cars too in Southernhay, Bartholomew St, Heavitree, at County Hall off Topsham Road, Newcourt, Cranbrook, Topsham, and at other locations across the South West. Members of Co-Cars can use any of the cars.
