Visit Diggerland in Devon and experience a family day out like no other! Ride on, drive on and operate real diggers, dumpers and other construction machinery. That’s right, the whole family will actually have a go on real JCBs!
At the Diggerland theme park in Devon, grown-ups and children alike can quite literally have their dreams come true. It’s the only place where playrooms really do come to life. Enjoy a completely unique and fully immersive family day out, like you have never experienced before.
Thrillseekers will love a head-reeling turn or two on the world famous Spindizzy ride. The whole family can enjoy a spin on the Dig-A-Round carousel. Those looking for something more on the gentler side can take in the breath-taking views of the Devon countryside, whilst elevated 50 ft in the air on the Skyshuttle ride.
The kids can even drive a real car, as well as Go-Karts, Quad-Bikes and Dodgems.
Perhaps you prefer getting hands on. Using the controls of a digger, you will be able to operate the machine yourself. Use the levers to lift and control the digger arm, scoop the earth in the digger bucket and watch it fall back down onto a muddy heap. You’ll see that it’s actually quite therapeutic.
If you want to get competitive with your family and friends, you can compete against each other whilst trying to ‘Hook a Duck’, sitting in the cab of a digger and manoeuvring the digger arm connected to a ring attachment.
For really little ones there are the Little Tikes Wheelz Play Zones, an indoor ball pit play area and the Diggerland Train.
After enjoying all the fun, you might need a little rest. Diggerland boasts the Dig Inn café with indoor seating. As well as plenty of outdoor picnic areas.
