
Oaklands Riding school and livery yard was established in 1971 and has always been a family run business.We pride ourselves in the quality and variety of our 50 riding school horses and treat each customer as an individual, catering for any specific needs. All our staff are friendly and experienced and always willing to help. Our facilities consist of 3 flood lit sand schools and indoor school.
LOCATION Oaklands stables is set in the beautiful Devonshire countryside with the added advantage of being on the outskirts of Exeter. HOW TO FIND US From the centre of Exeter, you can reach us by Bus. Take the A bus to West Exe Technology College (formally St Thomas High School.) From the bus stop cross the road and walk up Crabb Lane, at the cross roads turn left, a short walk from there and we are the first driveway on the right. To walk from the bus stop it should take you no more than 5 minutes.
By car from the town centre.Cross Exe bridges and take Alphington road. Continue down Alphington road until you reach Sainsburys, at the traffic lights turn right, the second traffic lights follow the road around to the right and take the next road on the left. Go up Crabb Lane, turn left at the cross roads and we are the next drive on the right, drive down through the yard and into the car park.
From the M5 and A30 M5 take Junction 31 on to the A30, on the A30 take the first exit (Alphington junction), at the roundabout take the last exit (you can see us to your left at this point). At the first and second traffic lights turn left, take the next road on the left (Crabb Lane), at the cross roads turn left we are then the next drive way on the right.
From the A30 South Take the Exeter Mash Barton exit (you can see us to your left from the top of the slip road), at the roundabout take the first exit, at the first and second traffic lights turn left and take the next road on the left (Crabb Lane), at the cross roads turn left andwe are the next drive way on the right.
