No trip to Dartmoor National Park is complete without visiting The Miniature Pony Centre!
This farm attraction has it all including indoor and outdoor play areas, pony rides for children aged 3 -10, daily activities including pony herding and feeding, miniature piggies, goats, small animals, an onsite café, and facilities. The ‘mane’ attraction is our adorable foals born every Spring. Home to over 80 equines from the very big mammoth donkeys and heavy horses to the miniature Shetlands and Miniature Mediterranean Donkeys, this is animal lover’s idea of heaven.
Unicorns, Miniature Shetlands and their foals, Miniature Pigs, Harris, our Suffolk Punch horse, miniature, and Mammoth Donkeys are all waiting to meet you and your family when you visit us on the Dartmoor National Park.
As well as lots of super cute ponies and donkeys, the Centre also offers a truly hands-on and unique experience to interact with our animals as well as taking part in our free daily activities. We will be welcoming 4 new foals this Spring and they are super adorable.
There is plenty of open safe spaces, stunning Dartmoor scenery and all activities are run with COVID secure safety measures in place, including social distancing. Our outdoor play areas will be open including our trampolines and zip wire. There are antibacterial gels around the Centre for you and your family to use. Our nature trail around the ponds will have you hunting for all the answers to your questions on your sheet!
Your family day out the Centre will be filled with activities, making wonderful memories and cute photo opportunities whilst being COVID safe. The Miniature Pony Centre, Dartmoor is a great ‘hands-on’ family day out filled with lots of cuteness and pony magic for children and adults alike.
