Phil King

About

Rooftop Promotions is delighted to present an intimate evening with Phil King at the enchanting St Nicholas Priory.

"As a singer-songwriter Phil King has the whole trinity: a beautiful, soulful singing voice; deft skills at playing the guitar and the capacity to write elegantly-worded and powerful songs." Tony Benjamin B24/7

"Absolutely brilliant, he is a Song Weaver!" Bob Harris, BBC Radio 2

"Smouldering Folk from Bristol's Roots Artist Of The Year!" Venue Magazine

Phil King has performed all over the UK, at festivals, in pubs, clubs and bars, on bandstands and boats, and once in a beautiful treehouse. He performs regularly in Paris and has also played in Zurich, Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen and New York.

Support is from Emily Davies who crafts spellbinding sets that are undeniably steeped in the magic of the past, while still maintaining a refreshing air of the new. Her songs blend bittersweet folk with a melodic mix of alt-country and a genuine pop sensibility.

Doors are at 7.30 and there will be pop-up bar serving drinks.Tickets are limited so please book in advance.
