Dr Todd Gray at Exeter Guildhall

About

A new commemorative book highlighting Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s 11 visits to Exeter will be launched in the city next month.

The 68 page book includes 44 illustrations of Her Majesty’s visits to the city from 1946 to 2012, and includes a foreword by Cllr Yolonda Henson, Lord Mayor of Exeter.

The commemorative book will be launched with an illustrated lecture by historian Dr Todd Gray at Exeter’s historic Guildhall on 18 November, at 2pm.

All money raised from ticket sales, priced at £4, will be donated to the Lord Mayor’s charity, Exeter Dementia Action Alliance. Tickets for the lecture by Dr Todd Gray can be bought on the day.

The book, priced £10, will be available from 18 November from WH Smith in Exeter Guildhall, or by contacting publisher Stevensbooks by email at sales@themintpress.co.uk or calling 01392 459760.

Anyone interested in acting as a patron for the book are invited to contact Stevensbooks using the contacts above by November 6.

Each patron, for a contribution of £100, will be listed in the opening pages of the book, invited to the launch and receive a copy of the volume.
