Esprit D’Air is an award-winning melodic rock and progressive metal band based in London. Esprit D’Air reformed in 2016 as Kai’s solo project; receiving a cult following across the world with their critically-acclaimed studio album, Constellations.
Their debut album crowned them as winners in the best metal/hardcore album of 2018 by The Independent Music Awards at the Lincoln Center, New York, among an esteemed judging panel featuring Amy Lee (Evanescence), Slayer, Sepultura, Tom Waits, and more.
Led by vocalist, guitarist, and composer Kai, Esprit D’Air is not seeking a major record label but instead, follow a strong DIY ethos to produce everything self-sufficiently. Consequently, the band records, produces, mixes and masters their own releases, and books and promotes their own tours.
