Exclusive free Christmas Event in Exeter

Residents at McCarthy and Stone's Pinnoc Mews Retirement Living development on Bakers Way in Pinhoe, Exeter, are inviting locals to join them in getting into the Christmas spirit, at an exclusive free festive event.

Inspired by the social tradition of days gone by that sees friends and family gather at home to celebrate the festive season, Pinnoc Mews' 'At Home' event on Wednesday 11th December, between 11am and 1pm, will see visitors treated to mouth-watering mince pies and a warming glass or two of mulled wine while socialising with residents.

To add to the atmosphere, live entertainment will be provided by renowned jazz band The Hipcats, who will be performing a series of festive favourites for the enjoyment of all.

Geoff Bates, Head of Marketing at McCarthy & Stone South, comments: "Christmas is the season for bringing everyone together, and at McCarthy & Stone we focus on creating a close-knit and supportive community, which is why our 'At-Home' Christmas event is a fantastic example of the fun and engaging activities we regularly host here at Pinnoc Mews.

"Our 'At Home' events will be happening at selected developments across the UK, and a warm welcome awaits all those who join us to raise a glass, enjoy the delightful sounds of The Hipcats and add a bit of sparkle to the start of their festive season."

Everyone who attends to the forthcoming event at Pinnoc Mews will also have the opportunity to take a tour of the development, meet with current residents, and find out more about the lifestyle that McCarthy and Stone offers.

Comprising a selection of 39 one and two bedroom Retirement Living apartments, exclusively designed for people aged 60 and over, Pinnoc Mews provides everything residents could want for a relaxing retirement.

To confirm your place at the At Home event at Pinnoc Mews, please call 0800 310 0383 or visit www.mccarthyandstone.co.uk.
