Local composer and musician, Philip Robinson is recording sounds from our neighbourhood over the Summer: people, places, inside, outside, maybe even you? The soundscape will be broadcast outside the Centre during opening hours from 14th-19th September. Come by and hear this intriguing sonic map, have a listen, lend an ear.

Like an ear-trumpet giving access into the present and past, this will provide an aural experience of what the centre contains and has heard over time, including voices from people captured in the Facing Out: Facing In portraits. The sounds will be an array of evocative eavesdroppings, traces of the insides of the building and its past, birdsong from the garden, echoes of choirs, and other sounds coming from the environment of St David’s, edited into an intriguing symphony to lure curious listeners closer and into the centre.
