Exeter Phoenix will be hosting tours, giving an insight into the historic uses of the building and remaining original features. Tours will also offer visitors a rare opportunity to explore behind-the-scenes areas of a multi-arts venue.

Did you know Exeter Phoenix started life as part of the University? Do you remember the days when we were still an Art College? Do you have memories of us as Exeter & Devon Arts Centre?

Exeter Phoenix is delighted to open its doors to take part in Heritage Open Days 2020.

Throughout the week, join us for free, daily tours. These tours will offer visitors a rare opportunity to explore behind-the-scenes areas of a multi-arts venue, as well as giving an insight into the historic uses of the building and a chance to explore some of the remaining original features. As tours are limited to a maximum of 10 people, advance booking is advised to avoid disappointment. Book online here.

As well as free tours, there will be the chance to look at pictures from our archives and see the original builders plans for the site, and read more information about Exeter Phoenix’s history.

Our Café Bar will be open throughout the week, offering you somewhere to soak up Exeter’s rich cultural heritage.
