Exeter Recorder Orchestra Lunchtime Concert

About

An informal concert in the Nave of Exeter Cathedral from the stellar Exeter Recorder Orchestra, who plays a variety of music, enjoying arrangements of orchestral works, and modern works written specifically for recorder orchestra of which there are an increasing number, by composers like Steve Marshall, Dietrich Schnabel and John Hawkes.

The Exeter Recorder Orchestra like its name suggests is made up purely of recorders. We have seven different varieties ranging from the Sopranino, the smallest in our orchestra at around 22cm, to the Contra Bass, which is making an appearance as a solo instrument in this concert, the largest at around 180cm.

This concert is included in your admission to the Cathedral.
