SW Rugby 7s is Exeter Chiefs’ annual 7s tournament, taking place on the 7th and 8th July 2018.

The tournament will be played at Topsham Sports Ground, with finals at Sandy Park.

Road Directions

Sandy Park is conveniently located just off Junction 30 of the M5, meaning travel to us from Devon and beyond is extremely straightforward.We are also 10 minutes away from Exeter Airport, on a main cycle route, served by Digby and Sowton railway station and within easy reach of Exeter City Centre. More information can be found on the tabs above.ParkingThere is an onsite car park at Sandy Park with over 500 spaces. From Monday 22nd September, a pay and display system will be in operation and the following charges will apply:Between 08:00 and 19:00Up to 1 hour: £1.00Up to 4 hours: £2.00 Over 4 hours: £4.00Between 19:00 and 08:00Overnight: £2.00

Public Transport Directions

The nearest rail station is Digby & Sowton - 15 minute walk (0.7 miles approx).Digby & Sowton is on the main Exeter to Exmouth line. Exeter St David’s is 4 miles away and you can catch a train from there to Digby & Sowton. When you get off the train, you will see a sign in front of you saying “Sandy Park Rugby Stadium” to the left, follow the path until you reach another sign directing you to turn right. At the end of this path, there is a blue sign directing you to turn left. Halfway along this path, you turn right and walk across the bridge.Alternatively, Exeter’s two main rail stations, St David’s and Central are located approximately 5 miles from Sandy Park. Taxis are available at both stations with an approximate journey time of 10 minutes.Sandy Park has teamed up with First Great Western to offer the very best in price for all delegates travelling by rail to Digby Sowton.Service 52 A, B or C (Exeter to Sidmouth).Arriving at Bishops Court bus stop, walk across the road and up Apple Lane. At the end of Apple Lane, there is a pathway signposted “Sandy Park Rugby Stadium”, at the top of the path turn left and walk across the bridge.Visit www.stagecoachbus.com for more information.Park and Ride: There is a Park and Ride service (PR4) in Sidmouth Road. If you take this service from the City Centre, you can then following the pedestrian directions above for the Service 52 as this park and ride service is located at Bishops Court.There is also a bus service from the RD & E Hospital to the Digby Park & Ride (PR3). This service is located by Exeter Digby Sowton Railway Station - see above for pedestrian directions.
