Fresh from a sold-out show at The Cavern, we are welcoming Ollie for his first headline show at The Exeter Phoenix. Ollie has been building a strong national and international following. He is quickly becoming a much talked about live act here in the UK with appearances at Boardmasters, Spring Classic and sold out shows in London, Brighton and Bristol.

Ollie has been featured on Spotify’s Editorial playlists, his last EP had over 200k streams on Spotify and was featured on BBC Introducing & Amazing Radio. ‘Harbour’ from that EP was selected as one of the top 10 tracks on Fresh On The Net, and was number 1 on the iTunes chart in Norway, Netherlands and Germany.

Ollie is often described as Indie-ambient folk, but this is an artist that is bravely forging his own path. Whilst the music is often layered, with evocative arrangements; the sentiment is direct and meaningful.

Inspired by the likes of Bon Iver, Novo Amor and RY X, his latest singles Islands, St Agnes & Harbour have been featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday & Fresh Finds Folk, and have received support from BBC Introducing and Absolute Radio.

This will be a special evening of Ollie playing a new EP in its entirety, with a full lineup of musicians including strings and for the first time, a horn section. This is set to be a magical and intimate introduction to Ollie’s work, and a chance to watch an artist at the height of their powers.
