Hospiscare has an excellent program of Open Gardens for you to visit in 2007, thanks to some wonderful gardeners! We raised over £13,200 in 2006 - if you would like to help us this year by enjoying even more beautiful gardens. Details of individual gardens are below, but more information can be found using the website address link above, including prices and directions... Look forward to another great summer of enjoying beautiful gardens in Devon, we'll see you there!

St Leonard's, Exeter - 12 May, 2.30-5pm
Five Gardens of St Leonard's open to view. Explore hidden delights with new gardens for this year. Lots of inspirational planting, enjoy a sumptuous tea.

Pennsylvania, Exeter - 12 and 13 May 2.30-5pm
12 Hillcrest Park, a terraced garden with many well filled beds. Vegetable garden and greenhouse. Plants and books on sale.

Nr Dunsford, Exeter - 13 until 20 May 11am-5.30pm daily
Bring the family to enjoy bluebell walks and gardens. Woodland walks and two farmhouse gardens, refreshments available. Stunning art exhibition also open. Admission by donation, dogs on leads.

Kilmington, Axminster - 26 and 27 May 11am-5pm
Old Cider Lodge has a 2.5 acre woodland garden with thatched cottage and stream. Featuring azaleas, rhododendrons, herbaceous and water plants. Many interesting shrubs and remarkable trees. Cream teas available. Plants on sale.

Woolfardisworthy, nr Crediton - 27 May 2.30-5pm
The Old Rectory has a beautiful country garden with shrubs, rose beds and a delightful walk between borders - don't miss the new kitchen garden.

Ottery St Mary - 30 May, 2-5pm
Beautiful Cadhay Gardens in the grounds of large country house. Meadows, ponds, walled gardens and lawns, with stunning views.

Zeal Monochorum, Crediton - 10 June, 2-5pm.
Charming small country cottage garden with lovely surrounding views.

Ebford near Exeter - 13 June 1.30-5pm
Lower Branscombe is a large traditional cottage garden with borders, stream and pond.

Westleigh, nr Tiverton - 17 June 12-5pm
Lower Ebear Farmhouse is set in one and a half acre garden with herbaceous borders, rockery, woodland, fruit and vegetables. Private collectors museum of local social history. Lunches and teas.

Cullompton - 24 June 2-6pm
Padbrook Hill Cottage is a one acre garden surrounding cottage. Plenty to see and enjoy.

Alphington, Exeter - 24 June, 2-5pm
Westcombe in Bloom is the chance to enjoy six gardens in the village of Alphington. With a range of difference styles to see and refreshments to enjoy.

Fenny Bridges, Honiton - 1 July, 2-5pm.
Little Ash Farm is a peaceful garden with extensive views. Immaculate lawns with three linked ponds. Fruit, vegetables, and golf putting course.

Exeter - 7 and 8 July 2-5pm
Enjoy 'two for one' weekend with Baca and Greenacres, two gardens in Cowley. Take in the lawned gardens with flower borders, shrubs and mediterranean garden. Short woodland walk with beautiful views.

Ashreigney, Chumleigh - 8 July 2-5pm
Churchwater Valley is a two acre garden set in 10.5 acre property, with three large ponds in secluded valley. Rich in wildlife, 30 minute walk with panoramic views.

Burgmann's Hill Lympstone - 14 July 2.30-5.30pm
The Old Garden is an established walled garden on approx half an acre. Featuring lawns, mixed borders, fernery, pond and fruit cage.

Alphington, Exeter - 22 July 1.30-5.30pm
A 19th century cottage and 21st century house open together as The Old and the New. Within a stones throw of each other, compare these two interesting gardens, one barely 3 years old and one hardworking allotment.

Broadclyst, Exeter - 19 August 2- 5pm
Millbrook is a tranquil garden with colourful beds and beautiful views over surrounding countryside.

Stockland, Honiton - 17 March 1 July, by appointment only
Mellstock is a well established one acre cottage garden with trees and shrubs. Many wildflowers and birds, beautiful scenery and woodland garden.

Whitestone, Exeter - April - October, by appointment only
Get your walking shoes on and enjoy an entertaining visit to this evolving sizeable naturalistic woodland and wildlife garden. Arabian mares on site, stunning views.
