
We're thrilled to welcome prize-winning novelist Andrew Miller to the Custom House. Andrew will be reading from his work including his latest novel _The Slowworm's Song_. He'll also be supported on stage by a handful of talented emerging writers who will be taking part in our three-day intensive _Hothouse_ workshop.

About the author
Andrew Miller, award-winning author of nine novels, was born in Bristol in 1960. He studied at Middlesex Polytechnic, University of East Anglia (with Malcolm Bradbury, Rose Tremain and Lorna Sage), and at Lancaster University where he completed his PhD under the supervision of Professor David Craig. He has been awarded The James Tait Black Memorial Prize, The Grinzane Cavour, The International IMPAC and the Costa Book of the Year. His most recent novel,_ T__he Slowworm’s Song_, came out with Sceptre in 2022.
