Exeter Canal and Quay Trust will again be bringing free family activities to the quayside every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday over the school summer holidays.

The Transit Shed will again be home to a jam-packed programme of fun and quirky activities for all the family.

Every Friday (26th July – 30th August), 11am – 4pm
Free Quay Fridays with Prom Prom
Join Uncle Tacko and friends for storytelling, puppets, magic, seaside games & flea circuses. 30th August on Piazza Terracina.

Friday 26th July, All day (Piazza Terracina)
3D Joe & Max
Come along to see 3D Joe & Max create a stunning artwork on the Piazza.

Tuesday 30th July, 11am – 3pm
Bath Bomb Lab with Devon Science
Fizztacular science fun for all the family.

Wednesday 31st July, 11am – 4pm
Air Dry Clay Workshop
Make your own clay face or flower with artist Lou Chapman

31st July, 1pm – 4pm (outside Custom House)
PaddleBoat Theatre Seaside Takeover
Write a sea shanty, meet the old Lighthouse Keeper and contribute to a coastal collage.

Animals Who live on the Exe
Paint your own animal pottery with Helen McCormick.

Wednesday 7th August, 11am – 4pm
The Mossy Carpet with Art & Energy
Help The Art and Energy Collective create an epic new artwork – The Mossy Carpet.

Tuesday 13th August, 11am – 4pm
Map Mosaics
Help create a giant mosaic map mural that shows the trade routes that linked the quayside with the rest of the world.

Wednesday 14th August. Workshops: 11:30 & 12:30 | Concert: 2pm
Mums Choir Exeter
Join this informal choir of Exeter mums (and their youngsters) for a relaxed workshop and performance.

Come along and help create something new, musical and magical by the water's edge.

Fantastic Flags at the Quayside
Join Just Sewn Stories and Melinda Schwakhofer to design and stitch your very own nautical flag.

Wednesday 21st August, 11am – 4pm
Exeter Doodles
Join Sophie Doodles to create a giant city scape which everyone can help colour in.

Wednesday 21st August, 11am – 4pm
Mini Island Workshop
Join Naturemake to create your own miniature Treasure Islands to take home from exciting found and foraged materials.

Tuesday 27th August. Workshop 10.30-12.30, show at 2.30pm
Finders Keepers with Boots & Moon Theatre
A magical tale of friendship and nature, exploring environmental responsibility through puppetry and live music.

Wednesday 28th August, 11am – 4pm
Paper and Print with Double Elephant
Make your own piece of paper and then try your hand at paper weaving and mono printing with Double Elephant.

– Activities are in the Transit Shed unless otherwise stated.
