The First Laugh is the South West's premium new material standup comedy night where professional comedians get to try out their new material on budding audiences!
Expect a night of familiar faces and new ones providing you with endless bellylaughs in an intimate venue as comedy should be. We’ve tapped into the standup scenes new material vein to showcase the freshest of comedic talents that’ll leave your ribs feeling tickled and your jaws aching with joy!
Some of the comedians we’ve had perform at The First Laugh include Mike Wozniak (Man Down, Taskmaster), Spencer Jones (Double Edinburgh comedy award and BAFTA nominee) and Stephen Carlin ('Ten Best Comedians In The World Ever' Stewart Lee, ‘The Sean Lock of his generation’ BBC Comedy Development). So come down, grab a drink and have a sidesplitting night of laughter at The First Laugh, a ‘pay what you can afford’ evening of comedy!
As a ‘pay what you can afford’ comedy night, The First Laugh has an actual ticket price of £12 and tiered ticket options to ensure that the night is affordable for all to attend. However, as with any event there are costs, we need to meet and would like you to keep this in mind when deciding upon how much you can afford to pay for your ticket.
