Guided, or self-guided, access to the Medieval, 1471, Tuckers Hall, home of the Incorporation of The Weavers, Fullers and Shearmens Guilds.
Tuckers Hall is arranged over 2 levels and 4 major areas. 3 areas act as interpretive, interactive museums with video films and
touch sensitive map and document archives. Additionally there are many exhibits detailing the history of the woollen cloth
trades. There is a specific exhibit displaying Civil War Firearms which will be open to the public for the first time. The Medieval
Banqueting Hall is the “must see” element of Tuckers Hall. Originally an open chapel dedicated to Our Lady of The Assumption
this is now a finely carved (1630s) and panelled room floored throughout.
