Following on from Edinburgh Fringe 2024 success, Yucca Dance presents a new triple bill, culminating in In the Round, an original dance theatre piece exploring circles intrinsic to human culture. Within circles, everything is interconnected and mirrored by our modern lives: a labyrinth with no apparent exit, direction, or conclusion. Yet, through other lenses, circles hold new significance. The show weaves a rich cultural tapestry of visual styles combining Chinese traditional dance with Western contemporary modalities and features music from Japanese art-pop duo dip in the pool, dance film, and verbatim sound in 24 languages.
