In this talk, Cat Bohannon will take us on a ground-breaking, agenda setting, myth-busting tour through the history of evolution and the female body. With boundless curiosity and sharp wit, Cat will explain the specific science behind the development of the female sex, and the wild new science that inspired her to write her bestselling book EVE.
In conversation with Ali Vowles, Cat will discuss scientific findings, including everything from the way C-sections in the industrialized world are rearranging women’s pelvic shape to the surprising similarities between pus and breast milk. They will talk about why female bodies are the way there are, and how biology and evolution affects our day-to-day experience.
This talk will change the way you think about human evolution and why Homo sapiens have become such a successful and dominant species!
