Powderham Food Festival is back and this year, tickets are free!
Taking place on the 7th & 8th of October 2023, this annual foodie event is set to be bigger and better than ever, showcasing a selection of the finest food and drink producers in and around Devon. Whether you're a familiar face at the festival, are a keen foodie fanatic or are simply looking for a fun way to spend your weekend, this is not to be missed.
Throughout the weekend, there'll be an exciting line-up of events, cooking demonstrations and, the annual chilli-eating contest will be making an eagerly anticipated return. There'll be entertainment and activities for the whole family to enjoy, plus furry friends are more than welcome.
Powderham Castle will be open to visitors over the course of the weekend, and cream tea is available to enjoy in the music room for a quintessentially British experience.
Doors will open at 9 am daily and the festival will be open until 5 pm. Car parking is available for £8 per car, but festival-goers are welcome to explore alternative methods of transport. Located just a 10-minute walk from Starcross, the train is a conveniently placed solution, or the number 2 Stagecoach bus will be running throughout the event. For the active families amongst us, sailing along the Exe trail or kayaking, paddleboarding and even sailing along the river are guaranteed to provide a fun day out for all.
Whatever you decide, be sure to get your tickets today from www.powderhamfoodfestival.com.
