The Guildhall is a building of outstanding architectural interest, an ancient monument situated in the heart of Exeter. It is licensed to hold weddings and civil partnerships as well as being available to hire for private events and other ceremonies.

Having received royalty and dignitaries, your event can now be added to the list. With rooms filled with Exeter’s storied past, the Guildhall’s grandeur and elegance make an impressive backdrop for your meeting, conference or wedding!

The Great Hall, where Lord Mayors have been elected; Members of Parliament have been chosen and Honorary Aldermen were appointed is ideal for larger events, and can accommodate up to 80 people. With its beautiful oak panelling and high ceilling, it adds a touch of luxury and history to your meeting or event. The more intimate Jury Room is perfect for smaller meetings and events, holding up to 35 people.
