Right in the heart of Exeter, Turks Head is a historic city-centre pub with its very own microbrewery, great food, live sport and six characterful bedrooms – all just moments from Exeter Cathedral and the High Street.
Beer is a big part of life at Turks Head. Brewer Tilly creates a rotating selection of beers in the on-site microbrewery, meaning you can enjoy a pint brewed just metres from where you’re sitting. Alongside the home-brewed beers, the bar is stocked with popular draught favourites, wines, cocktails, spritzes and alcohol-free options.
The kitchen serves up proper pub food with plenty of personality, making Turks Head a great spot for lunch, dinner or a bite while watching the match.
Sports fans are well catered for, with eight big screens showing the biggest fixtures from Sky Sports and TNT Sports. From Premier League and European football to Premiership Rugby, Six Nations and major international tournaments, it’s one of Exeter city centre’s go-to pubs for watching live sport.
For warmer days, head up to the rooftop terrace for drinks above the city, or stay a little longer in one of the six individually designed bedrooms above the pub.
With Exeter Cathedral, the High Street, Gandy Street and many of the city’s main attractions just a short walk away, Turks Head is perfectly placed for a pint of locally brewed beer, great food, live sport or an overnight stay in the centre of Exeter.
Turks Head is located on Exeter High Street, in the heart of the city centre and just moments from Exeter Cathedral. From the M5, leave at Junction 30 and follow signs for Exeter city centre. As the pub sits within the central pedestrianised area, there is no on-site parking, but several public car parks are available within easy walking distance.
Turks Head is easy to reach by public transport in the heart of Exeter city centre. Exeter Central railway station is around a 5-minute walk from the pub, while Exeter St David’s is approximately a 15–20 minute walk or a short taxi ride away. Exeter Bus Station and numerous city-centre bus stops are also within easy walking distance.
