Exeter is located in the heart of Devon, with excellent road and rail connections to the surrounding areas. Follow the path of the River Exe Estuary by road, bicycle or a scenic rail journey to the coast at Exmouth or Dawlish just 10 miles away.

As well as a wealth of natural attractions, enjoy top family days out at nearby visitor attractions including Crealy Great Adventure Park, The Donkey Sanctuary, and World of Country Life. Make the most of the great outdoors at Haldon Forest Park with its purpose built walking and cycling trails, take a cruise along the River Exe with Stuart Line or or try out a new water sport on the Exe Estuary – the list of activities on offer here is long!
