Melbury Rooms & Studios offers 10 well-equipped rooms and studios in a peaceful spot just minutes from the heart of the city. Whether you're here for a weekend or several weeks, we give you the comfort of a hotel with the freedom of self-catering: no hassle, no rigid routines.

We’re based on a quiet residential street, just a short walk from Exeter’s shops, restaurants, and university campus. Inside, you’ll find bright, thoughtfully designed spaces with everything you need to feel at home, plus a few extra touches to make settling in easy.

All rooms come with fast WiFi, an en-suite bathroom, fridge, microwave, and kettle. Studios include a fully equipped kitchenette. We provide starter essentials when you arrive, and if you're staying longer, weekly housekeeping is included.

There’s a large shared kitchen and dining space available to all guests, and when the weather's good, our courtyard is a great place to eat, relax, or get some work done outdoors - yes, the WiFi stretches that far.

You can check in from 3pm, check out by 11am, and come and go as you please - everything’s set up to be simple, relaxed, and guest-friendly.

We also offer on-street parking permits at great daily rates, but most guests find the best way to enjoy Exeter is on foot.
