About

The Bookery is thrilled to be welcoming back superstar creatorsPhilip Reeve and Sarah McIntyre for a brilliantly interactive celebration of their brand new Adventuremice book, Adventuremice: Of Mice and Mummie s, the eighth instalment in their wildly imaginative and irresistibly funny series.
Join us this Easter for a joy filled hour of drawing, creativity and pure Adventuremice excitement as Philip and Sarah lead families into the sandy secrets of their latest story. When Meepie the mermouse makes a huge discovery, the Adventuremice race against time to reach a secret island complete with mouse sphinxes, pyramids, palaces and the mysterious tomb of Queen Neferteacake! Expect giggles, costumes, doodles, and the kind of gleeful chaos only this dynamic duo can deliver.

The event is perfect for children aged 5+, inviting young readers to dream up new adventures, create their own characters, and get inspired by two of the UKs most adored storytellers. Philip and Sarah will be signing copies of the book after the event.

Philip Reeve is the bestselling, award winning author of Mortal Engines, winner of the Nestl Smarties Book Prize and Blue Peter Book Award, later adapted into a major film. He also illustrates, writes jokes and cartoons for childrens books, and is the creator of the acclaimed Utterly Dark series.
