Stories are how we form our beliefs, our values, our expectations and aspirations. The traditional stories of our society, shape our attitudes towards difference, and our sense of Other. Join The Turning Tides Project and partners to explore, challenge and reframe traditional stories and their representation of Disabled People. This multi- media event will include an exhibition, films, live plays and live music to share multi-sensory retellings from a Social Model perspective and to launch the And Other Stories Collection, hosted by the Folklore Library and Archive.
