We've been running our hugely popular BanterFests since 2021 starting in Lincolnshire in September, and then last year adding BanterFestSouthWest in Devon in May.

During that time we've learned that folks love the fun and friendly vibe of what we've built up, love the cosy size of BanterFest, love the feeling of having found a community/family/tribe and love the unbelievable lineups of artists that we carefully curate each year.

The first BanterFest SouthWest in the beautiful Teign Valley village of Christow on the border of the Dartmoor National Park was as amazing a festival as you could wish for. With a stunning, world-class line-upof folk artists, morning workshops from top musicians and dance specialists, an utterly stomping ceilidh, award winning locally crafted wines and beers, local food treats & top nosh catering, welcoming and inclusive song and tune sessions for all and the most chilled out found-family vibe.

BANTERFEST SOUTH WEST IS RETURNING FOR A 2ND YEAR IN MAY2027!!

Our beautiful, boutique folk festival will take place on the weekend of 7th - 10th May 2027. The weekend will feature up close and intimate concerts from some of the biggest A-list artists in the folk world in the wonderful Teign Valley Community Hall nestled in the idyllically rural Teign Valley village of Christow, Devon, right on the edge of Dartmoor National Park.

Weve taken the blueprint for BanterFest South West from our much loved Lincolnshire BanterFests: camping; singing; dancing; sessions; workshops; real ale, great wines and yummy food.

The line-ups for our previous BanterFests in the East Midlands have been world class and this new event will be no exception.

Total tickets will be limited to 300 and will be sold on a first come, first served basis, after which we will set up a waiting list for any returned tickets.

As usual, weekend camping is available with the campsite open from midday on the Friday and the festival bar open from 4pm. The festival concerts kick off at 7pm on the Friday with concerts, workshops, dances and sessions running through the weekend up until the finale concert which wraps things up at teatime on the Sunday. After that the bar and facilities will remain open on Sunday evening with an open session continuing til late. You will then have until 12 noon on the Monday to vacate the campsite.
