The much-loved Magdalen Road Summer Street Fair returns for a celebration of creativity, community and local independent businesses.

For one day, Magdalen Road will be transformed into a vibrant, traffic-free festival space, with around 25 stalls showcasing locally made crafts, gifts, food and drink. Independent shops, cafés and businesses will spill out onto the street, creating a lively atmosphere and the perfect opportunity to discover the unique character of one of Exeter's most distinctive neighbourhoods.

Creativity takes centre stage throughout the day, with visitors invited to get hands-on and try a range of activities, from painting, printing and weaving to pottery, singing and dancing, 3D printing and rock music workshops. There will also be live demonstrations from talented makers and artists, offering an insight into traditional and contemporary creative skills.

Entertainment will be provided throughout the day, including performances from Big Noise Chorus, swing dancers, choirs and the Kids Rock Music Project, ensuring there's something to enjoy for all ages.

The celebrations continue into the evening with a unique Long Table Supper, taking place in the middle of the road from 7pm to 9pm. Bring your own food or purchase delicious dishes from the street's cafés and restaurants before joining neighbours and friends for a memorable community dining experience.
