This year, the Devonshire Association is Celebrating Devons World-Class Heritage in a project supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. This project aims to raise awareness of our countys UNESCO designated natural and cultural heritage and the Devonshire Associations role in promoting that heritage over the past 163 years.
Our first Discovery Day in celebration of the Exeter Book will be a chance to explore the newly opened Treasures Exhibition. The Cathedrals tour guides will introduce visitors to treasures from the Cathedrals collections, including the Exeter Book, which is inscribed in UNESCOs Memory of the World Register and now on permanent public display.
Tours are free but places are limited and booking is essential.
