Widely considered Britain's most populat artist, David Hockney is a global sensation with exhibitions in London, New York, Paris and beyond, attracting millions of visitors worldwide.
Now entering his ninth decade, Hockney shows absolutely no evidence of slowing down or losing his trademark boldness. Featuring intimate and in-depth interviews with Hockney, this revealing film focuses on the two blockbuster exhibitions held in 2012 and 2016 at the Royal Academy of Art in London. Director Phil Grabsky secured privileged access to craft this cinematic celebration of a 21st century master of creativity.
Doors open at 7pm, and the screening commences at 8pm. You are purchasing a seat in the stalls area (downstairs) at the venue, but seating is unallocated. We have space for up to 10 wheelchairs, and an accessible toilet. To reserve a wheelchair space and adjacent seat(s) please email info@hebdenbridgepicturehouse.co.uk.
There is a kiosk with a bar in the foyer which is open prior to the screening and during any interval.
There is no parking at the Picture House, but town has several car parks and on street parking near to the cinema. We are a cash only venue, and do not accept cards.
