Independent Bookshop Week: Tom McClaughlin

Independent Bookshop Week: Tom McClaughlin

About

Children's author Tom Mclaughlin, and author of popular graphic novel series Alan, King Of The Universe will be working in the bookshop, drawing with kids, doodling on the windows, and signing books from 10 am-12 noon. This is a free, drop in event. Come meet the author!

Bookbag's fifth Independent Bookshop Week! We think there's no better time to support bookshops than a whole week dedicated to us.
Bookbag offers a carefully selected range of books with a local/global feel across fiction, non fiction, nature, art, zines, and children's books. We run a range of friendly events for all ages, and this year received a Penguin Bookshop Grant to run a series of book events in local schools.
Tucked inside McCoys Arcade in Exeter's indie West Quarter, we can order any book into the bookshop, run a book subscription, and a range of events and book socials.

We start the week with a free, drop in children's event, and end the week with new festival Echoes, with events throughout the weekend including a bookclub, author talks, poetry and film.
