Experience the craft of traditional wood engraving in this one-day introductory workshop led by Lynn Bailey, exploring the fine graphic techniques long associated with book illustration. You'll be guided step-by-step through preparing a small wood block, transferring an image, engraving using specialist tools, and printing both by hand and with presses, with plenty of time to practice correct tool handling and develop your own engraved design, supported by clear notes and handouts throughout the day.
