About

Join us for an afternoon of stand-up comedy, as local men bring the laughs with their own short sets, developed through our Jest for Men comedy course.

Hosted by the brilliant Edward Tripp, this is an afternoon of stand-up from men who are still finding their feet - and they need your support!

Expect new material, dodgy first drafts, and at least a few genuinely great punchlines.

Under the expert guidance of comedian Angie Belcher, participants have been learning the ins and outs of stand-up comedy from writing jokes to owning the stage.

Jest for Men , is run by Alright Mate?, a Devon-based arts organisation that supports mens mental health and wellbeing through creative workshops, activities and events.
