Get ready to experience the vibrant energy of Exeter this June with our exciting line up of festivals and markets.
The Exeter Comedy Festival kicks off the month, closely followed by Respect - the city’s annual celebration of diversity, now in its 29th year and once again bringing a vibrant programme of music, workshops, family activities and food from around the world. Creativity is at the heart of the Magdalen Road Street Festival, which combines stalls selling the best in independent makers and artisan produce, plus myriad opportunities to have a go yourself.
Presented by Exeter Northcott Theatre, the inspiring Reclaim Festival celebrates women in the arts. Bringing together an exciting programme of performances, new writing, theatre shows, workshops, and live events at the Barnfield Theatre, the festival champions women's voices and artistic talent in all its forms.
Exeter Quayside hosts the City of Literature Book Market for the first time, with activities, talks and booksellers spread across both sides of the river. The Quay also hosts the monthly Exeter Quayside Farmers' Market, where you can expect a wide selection of the very best of locally sourced produce, artisanal products and plants. Plus there’s the return of the family favourite Dragon Boat Festival!
