An evening of soulful, modern jazz led by acclaimed vocalist Sarah Harris, whose rich tone and expressive delivery have made her a standout on the Brighton jazz scene. Now based in South Devon, Sarah brings together a stellar band of musicians for an intimate and captivating live performance.
With a background spanning private events, recording sessions, and collaborations with renowned groups including Urban Voices Collective and The Dap Kings, Sarah’s sound is shaped by influences such as Etta James, Chet Baker and Aretha Franklin - blending jazz tradition with a fresh, soulful edge.
She is joined by an exceptional trio: pianist Will Butterworth, a deeply expressive player with a rich history in the UK jazz scene; bassist and composer Marcus Vergette, known for his work with leading jazz ensembles and broadcasts on BBC Radio 3; and drummer Ronnie Jones, whose dynamic and sensitive playing has taken him from major festivals to sold-out performances at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club.
Expect an evening of elegant arrangements, fluid improvisation, and heartfelt performances - perfect for fans of vocal jazz with soul.
