The Devon and Exeter Institution - Heritage Open Days 2025

The Devon and Exeter Institution is a thriving independent historic library and educational charity in the heart of the city. Our purpose is to Preserve and Educate and we welcome new members and visitors of all ages.
Timings and tours
Tuesday 16th September - Librarians Tours, 11am (1 hour)
Wednesday 17th September - Architectural Tours at 1:15pm, 2:15pm and 3:15pm, Frederick Douglass workshop, 3pm.
Friday 19th September - Frederick Douglass promenade performances at 2pm and 4pm. Meet the curator at 3pm.
Saturday 20th September - Frederick Douglass promenade performances at 2pm and 4pm. Meet the curator at 3pm.
