This buzzing independent restaurant in Exeter has been gratifying appetites since 1993. It’s the ideal setting for laid-back brunches, lunchtime dates, intimate dinners, celebrations and quick bites. Wherever possible, the family-run team sources ingredients from nearby farms, producers and suppliers, including locally reared meats, and seasonal fruits and vegetables.

All the good stuff – local, independent and family-run – the Pounds family opened Harry’s in 1993 and we are proud to be in our third generation.

Farmers Field to Food on Forks! - We don’t just say locally sourced; to us, it’s a given.
We constantly strive to bring the best possible produce to the table and are thrilled to work with some fantastic local suppliers such as Emma’s Bread, Orange Elephant Ice Creams, Lybe Bay Winery and Darts Farm.
All Harry’s meat is 100% Devon reared, carrying the South West Quality Meat Certificate.

Why’s it honest? - It’s an ongoing process!
Honest to us encompasses many things including animal welfare, local sourcing, carbon footprint, supporting the local community, and striving to be environmentally friendly.
We enjoy being able to support local community projects wherever possible, including St Petrocks who do a fantastic job of helping Exeter's homeless community.

It’s about the customers, it’s a pleasure to be a part of people’s lives in this way and it’s so nice to be able to reconnect with people over the years and watch people’s families grow.
To us, that is what food is all about, making time to sit around a table with family and friends.
