371 reviewsThe Hour Glass, established in 1846, is a tastefully eccentric pub and restaurant in a 19th century building which maintains many of its original features. It is located one street up from Exeter quay, and a 5-minute walk from the city centre, nestled on a quiet back street. The pub provides an assortment of local real ales & ciders, as well as a broad range of spirits and cultivated selection of wines (including an ever-changing wine specials menu). Additionally, their restaurant is host to a well-known local food legacy, offering dishes centred entirely around local produce. Their well known classics include Steak, Triple Cooked Chips and Sunday Roasts, but a frequently changing menu ensures inventive dish offerings at any visit.
On Melbourne Street, just off Topsham Road (A3015). Nearest parking - some pay and display available on Colleton Crescent & public parking at Magdalen Street Car Park.
15 min walk away from Exeter Central train station & Exeter Bus Station. R and J busses are nearest and stop on Topsham Road
