As summer approaches, Exeter is gearing up for a season of exciting events and activities. From music gigs to food festivals, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in Exeter! Read on to discover the top upcoming events in our city this summer…

Fore Street Flea

Fore Street Flea is back on 16th July! You can expect a Sunday afternoon filled with a mixture of stalls from pre-loved clothing and bric-a-brac to artwork and accessories, food, drink and even entertainment.

Exeter Craft Festival

This annual craft fair takes place in the picturesque setting of Exeter Cathedral green, from 6th-8th July. Featuring over 200 exhibitors showcasing their handmade products, visitors can browse unique gifts and souvenirs while enjoying live music and street food. Find out more here.

Exeter Respect Festival

Celebrating diversity and inclusivity, the Exeter Respect Festival is a free event taking place between 10th and 11th June With live music, dance performances and workshops, this festival aims to promote understanding and respect between different cultures and communities.

Exeter Armed Forces Day

Exeter’s Armed Forces Day will take on 17th June, 1 week before the National Armed Forces Day. The day will consist of a parade of veterans, cadets associations and reservists through the high street, accompanied by the Salamanca Jazz Band and with the Barnstaple Youth Band taking the lead. After the parade, head to the Military Village on Cathedral Green for heaps of stalls, military vehicles, arts and crafts and much more.

Exeter Foodies Festival

This national festival returns to Exeter between 16th -18th June at Escot Park! Expect live music, delicious food and drink plus top chefs including Devon Cookery School founder Jazzi Curley and Michelin-star chef Michael Caines MBE. This mouth-watering event is sure to make your taste buds tingle. Find out more.

Let’s Rock 80’s Festival

It’s time to get your dancing shoes on and head to Powderham Castle on 1st July! The ultimate 80’s festival returns to the Devon attraction, with acts including Tony Hadley, Soft Cell and OMD. Find out more and get your tickets.

Bastille at Powderham Castle

Gone Wild Festival with Bear Grylls

Enjoy endless outdoors activities this summer at Powderham Castle, from 24th-27th August. The Gone Wild Festival will host live music acts and speakers as well as crazy activities and workshops including quad biking and Bear Grylls’ very own survival academy challenge.
