RHS Glow celebrates 10 magical years

This winter, RHS Garden Rosemoor is set to sparkle as RHS Glow celebrates its 10th anniversary, transforming the gardens with enchanting illuminations, interactive installations and plenty of festive magic.

Taking place on selected dates from 27 November to 30 December 2026, this year’s RHS Glow features a re-imagined route through the gardens and eight brand-new installations, creating a spectacular after-dark experience for all ages.

Come with us as we take a stroll through RHS Glow, as some of Rosemoor’s best-loved spaces are transformed for winter.

Step into a garden of light

The adventure begins with an ancient oak dramatically picked out in neon lines in the recently renovated Winter Garden. From there, head into the Formal Gardens, where a pathway of glowing daisies leads towards a spectacular field of poppies, before the trail enters the Devon Heritage Orchard for the first time.

Along the way, an illuminated water feature creates beautiful reflections across the lake before the route continues towards Rosemoor’s famous Long Borders.

Walk, jump, and dance through the lights

One of this year’s playful highlights is‘Octave’, an interactive light and sound installation designed to respond to movement.

Eight illuminated floor buttons react to footsteps with shifting colours and musical notes, creating a full octave of sound alongside a spectrum of light. Visitors can walk, jump and dance their way across the installation, making it a fun experience for children and grown-ups alike.

To finish the trail in style, huge illuminated dandelions provide a striking finale and an irresistible festive photo opportunity.

Dance the night away at the Silent Disco

Fancy adding even more sparkle to your Christmas night out? RHS Garden Rosemoor is hosting a Silent Disco on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 December, with two sessions taking place each evening. Visitors of all ages can combine the atmospheric Glow trail with an evening of music and dancing in the Garden Room. Additional booking is required for the Silent Disco.

Make a festive evening of it

There's plenty more to enjoy beyond the illuminations. Pick up festive food and drink as you explore, settle down for a meal in the restaurant afterwards, or squeeze in some Christmas shopping at the Garden Centre, with Christmas trees, decorations and a selection of gifts available. 

Glow tickets also include entry to the Magic of Christmas Craft and Food Fairs on 27, 28 and 29 November and 5 and 6 December. A quiet night (SEN) is scheduled for 27 November.

RHS Glow takes place at RHS Garden Rosemoor in Great Torrington on selected dates between 27 November and 30 December 2026.

Tickets start from £13 for adults and £7 for children, while RHS member prices start from £8 for adults and £4.50 for children. Under-fives go free.
