Climbing

Exeter is home to the South West’s largest indoor wall, housed within the Quay Climbing Centre. The imposing venue makes use of the huge atrium space built into one of Exeter’s largest and iconic industrial buildings – formerly the city’s electricity works and offers great fun and a real challenge for the experienced climber, or those just wanting to learn with qualified instructors.

Easy, medium or difficult climbs are also accessible at the Climbing Centre for children as young as 4 as well as the most experienced rock monkeys, housed within the building through Clip n Climb - an exciting themed climbing adventure.

The South West's newest bouldering centre, Boulder Exe welcomes first-timers to experienced climbers. The perfect place to move, climb and connect, if you've never climbed before then bouldering is the easiest and most fun way to start -  no ropes, no harnesses, just you, the wall, and a soft mat to land on.
