About

Covid-19 update:

The World of Country Life is now open daily 10am-5pm until Sunday 31st October.

Obviously visitors’ safety is a priority as always, so in line with Government guidelines, there will be lots of changes on the park, and whilst there will be some activities that will temporarily be unavailable, there are lots of new ones, and all in the unique style of family fun that you will only find at World of Country Life.

About us:

It’s not everyday you can hand feed a Deer or Llama, walk a pygmy goat or bottle feed a lamb but you can do all of this and more at the multi-award winning World of Country Life in Exmouth. You will never forget the hilarious animal racing events* – ‘Lamb National’, ‘Quacky Races’ or ‘Total Ferret Wipeout’ and the amazing flying displays by Hawkridge Birds of Prey all add to the fun.

Take a walk back in time down memory lane and explore our Victorian street, call in at the Game Keeper’s Cottage, drop into the dress shop, stop off at the garage or pop into the pub - all featuring memorabilia from years gone by.

The Hall of Transport houses one of the largest collection of vintage vehicles, motorcyles and steam engines in the South West including the Charabanc used for filming Downton Abbey, the Daimler featured in Mr Selfridge and Parade’s End and the Bullnose Cowley featured in Great British Car Journeys by Timothy Ecclestone & Peter Davidson no less!

Take a break with some tasty bites from the Tractor take-away.

As well as a daily programme of activities* there are many different play areas including ‘Appy Angus soft play areas, a giant air bouncer, slides, electric cars, trampolines, a full size pirate ship, adventure playground brand new for 2021 Farmer Ninja warrior course and during the Summer holidays a brand new Maize Maze!

With oodles of indoor and outdoor amusement your day will be filled with fun! Kids, adults and grandparents can all enjoy a full day and whatever the weather you will take home some wonderful lifetime memories.

*Some activities are subject to change. See www.worldofcountrylife.co.uk for a full timetable of events.

      Road Directions

By car: The World of Country Life is just 10 Miles from Junction 30 M5 (Follow A376 Exmouth/Sandy Bay). The park is clearly signposted with Brown tourist signs. By bike: There is a cycle path that runs from Budleigh Salterton into Littleham (just by the churchyard) which is just along the road from World of Country Life. There are cycle paths all along the Estuary from Exeter via Topsham & Lympstone into Exmouth. You can then cycle along the Sea Front and up Maer Lane to reach us.

      Public Transport Directions

The No 95 Bus runs from Exmouth Bus & Train station along the seafront and through Littleham Village to Devon Cliffs stopping right outside World of Country Life. It is an open top Double Decker Bus and the service runs from March to November.
